Founded in the Spring of 2008, FUNKTASTIK is based in Portland, Oregon. The members of this ensemble bring diverse and eclectic musical and cultural backgrounds to their music. FUNKTASTIK's rich mix of Funky Soul Jazz will appeal to a wide audience of listeners. Dipping into the rich musical heritage of the likes of Cannonball Adderly, Grover Washington, Bobby Timmons and Eddie Harris, FUNKTASTIK expands the lexicon of Funky Soul Jazz music.
